Pinewood Derby
Last Saturday, Tanner participated in the Pinewood Derby with his scout troop. Micah and Tanner worked together (really Tanner helped!) Tanner designed his car to be the Italian car on the Cars II movie. I am sure you know the name, I just don't know how to spell it :). Micah was asked to help with the track, so it was Madelyn and I hanging out, watching the racing. What excitement and fun for little boys (and big boys)! Every one seemed to enjoy themselves and have a good time. Of course, Tanner wanted to win. His car didn't do so bad. He received a certificate for participating, but we think he was 4th or 5th overall, but who's keeping track? We are glad that Tanner is involved in Scouts. Away we go!!

Easter Time
We had a wonderful weekend. No school/work on Good Friday. Yes! It was a good Friday indeed. We got things done at the house and then prepared for our annual Easter tradition-going to the Mesa Temple's Visitor Center, "Jesus, the Christ" Easter Pageant. We always plan to get there by 5:00 PM to get a good seat, bring dinner (this year we brought subway sandwiches, chips and snack) and play UNO as a family. We saved seats for Erin Bolter (Madelyn's babysitter) and her mother and Cherilyn, Myka and London. Each year the pageant strengthens my testimony of Jesus Christ, that He atoned for our sins, He suffered and died for us on the cross.
He was resurrected and He lives!
Easter Sunday was a delight! We all got ready for church, looking adorable and handsome. I made Micah stop by a rose garden to take Easter pictures on the way to church. The
service was special with musical numbers and the Easter message. It was right during Madelyn's nap time so I was out in the hall trying to get her to fall asleep. She is a fighter when she is so tired until her exhaustion gets the best of her. After church, we went home and the kids found the Easter bunny had come. We enjoyed the rest our day relaxing, enjoying time together and getting full on our ham & mashed potato dinner! We hope that you had a blessed Easter spending it with family and friends.

Entering the Blogging Zone! I have always wanted to do this. I admire others and their blogs; looking at adorable picture and reading updates of the ones that I love. So no more wishing, I am going to take the plunge and do it. I will just have to spend a least once a week updating things, take pictures and not let another moment pass me by. Hope this will keep us connected and you will enjoy what is happening with our family!
